"Inspired by a morning walk along the water's edge in Big Sur, "Hush" blends the organic imagery I saw with the beauty of a blown glass sculpture I had seen in a photograph.

The muted colors of the wet sand, driftwood, and sea foam are highlighted by the greens of the ice plant and sea glass.

The shapes- from the ice plant leaves, to the clusters of bubbles, to the kelp pods- found their form in a composition inspired by the sculpture."
